At the onset of 2016, the fire chief of the El Cenizo VFD was suspended during a scheduled city council meeting.
Several preparingtexas.org classes in the South Texas Development Council region have been scheduled for April '16. Included that month are CERT program manager, search and rescue in the community, and public information in a disaster courses.
