Quad City Volunteer Fire Department EMS
Staffing and Personnel Chart
As with all fire departments, the Quad City Volunteer Fire Department EMS counts on task-oriented groups of firefighters, medics, and rescuers to respond effectively to any situation that may occur.
Because we are a volunteer organization, our personnel and staffing plan is more fluid, however, than many professional municipal fire departments who utilize standardized crews to man shifts. We rely instead on an On-Call system where members are called out to respond as needed with a small skeleton crew at the station during certain hours of the day.
